About Me

Hi and a warm welcome to my blog. My little place in the cyber crafting world. I'm Elaine and I'm 41 years and married to the most amazing man I could wish for. My passion is all forms of crafting and I'm extremely lucky to be on the design teams for Leonie Pujol, Toni Darroch at stamps by me limited and Eclectic Ellapu challenge blog. I also do a bit of demo work for stix2 anything and I love it. I've recently retrained after being made redundant to become a Teaching Assistant which is a very rewarding job. Its Fixed !

Hi to everyone, hope you are well and had a fab weekend. Finally the internet was fixed a few days ago. But unfortunately I have been at work all weekend and have had zero time to craft due to the fact we have also had a new boiler which meant a hell of a lot of moving about and cleaning !!! Although I have a day off tomorrow yippee. But I thought I would show you what I intend to work on over the next few days.

A tim holtz configurations box  ( my good friend maria got me it ), and a graphic 45 pad, this has been in my stash for 2 years !! About time I got the scissors into it. Well thanks ever so much for stopping by. Take care xx

Inspired by Ellen

Well today I read the Paperartsy blog and  discovered that the very talented Ellen Vargo was featured. I loved the post so much I ventured straight into my craft room to make a tag. I used the wonderful fresco chalk paints in Hey presto & limelight. I then spritzed it with some perfect pearls to add a nice sheen. Then stamped using swirls & curls. Finally some tim holtz chit chat words. I like how it turned out especially as this was my first time brayering with paints, infact I have had my brayer for about 4 years and never used it lol.

Thanks for looking, have fun xxxx

No internet !

Good morning,
Well its the 1st challenge of the year for Team 1 at Hobbycutz. The theme is lots of layers & we are sponsored by the fab
For my card I have used Strawberry shortcake - so cute coloured with Pro markers. I have used wooden leaves from Hobbycutz that I have embossed with green sparkle embossing powder.

I have not been a happy bunny since Wednesday as I have had no internet and BT cant come out until Monday. Thank goodness for iPhones so I must apologise for the poor photos as I cant use my iPad or computer. Everything is being done via my iphone. Hope you like it have a fab weekend. Thanks so much for stopping by.

More Sweet sentiments

Morning , well what have I been doing - playing with the sweet sentiments again. After I finally cut into it to make yesterday's canvas I thought I would make a tag. I have used rangers big tag, swished it through Tim Holtz distress inks & also spritzed with perfect pearls. Then I added paper and chipboard pieces.

Quite like how this turned out. Let me know what you think. Right I am off to play badminton & hopefully squeeze in some more craft later. Hope you all have a fab day.
Take care and thanks for dropping by xx

Productive craft day !

Today has been the most productive craft day I have had in ages and I finally feel like my mojo is slowly coming back. I have made quite a few cards over last couple of days in an effort to use up some of my much hoarded stash. Then just for fun I decided to cut into my new sweet sentiments pad by Graphic 45.........and started a small canvas.

I still think I might add to it but its a work in progress. Wish the photo was a little better. So what do you think, hope you like it. Take care & as always I appreciate everyone who stops by xx
