About Me

Hi and a warm welcome to my blog. My little place in the cyber crafting world. I'm Elaine and I'm 41 years and married to the most amazing man I could wish for. My passion is all forms of crafting and I'm extremely lucky to be on the design teams for Leonie Pujol, Toni Darroch at stamps by me limited and Eclectic Ellapu challenge blog. I also do a bit of demo work for stix2 anything and I love it. I've recently retrained after being made redundant to become a Teaching Assistant which is a very rewarding job. Well I hope you like what you see on my blog. I'm always grateful for people taking a peek and leaving messages x

Happy new year x

Well it's Nearly 8.00pm New Year's Eve and I have not long got in from work and wanted to post my fat- tactic Tuesday card. The theme is new year. I'm afraid I have been naughty as its not quite a square card oops. Sorry sue ,

I saw something similar on Pinterest, I have to admit that I had no idea what to do ( I've never made a new year card before & was stumped ) but it only took a few minutes with a few stamps and ink.
All that's left for me to say is I hope you have a wonderful new year & wish each and everyone of you all the best for 2014. Thanks for all the support on the blog in 2013.
I do have a tiny bit of exciting news coming in January !!!
Take care & have fun

New stamp & distress markers

Good afternoon, hope you are all having a fabulous Sunday. I have managed to make a few cards and tidy up my craft room. Today I have a card to share with you made using a new stamp I got from My crafty heart she's called Alice. I love her !!! I intend to use her a lot....... I chose to colour her in using my new set of Tim Holtz distress markers. Not bad for my 1st attempt at using them. I used MME paper and again my stamping up punch & ticket stamp. Finished off with a spellbinders border.

I had lots of fun making this and can feel my mojo coming back. Have lots of crafty fun.
Thanks for peeking & leaving comments, it means the world to me.
Take care , Elaine xxx

I also used the 2 sizes of cheery Lynn flourish dies ( there is a 3rd I'm dying to get my hands on ). That's all from me today , thanks for taking the time to take a look. Have a great weekend xx

Workshop day !

Today was the day I had been waiting for..... The Graphic 45 workshop with uk designer Clare Charvill. And it was brilliant. The owner of my local craft shop Sue from Crafty bunch organised it and she did an amazing job. Kept us in drinks, cakes and bisciuts. We made a beautiful box. I still want to add a few bits and bobs to it. It was made using the new papers called Couture.
And also this week I received a wonderful package from one of my blog friends.
Take a peek at her blog :

Good evening , hope everyone is keeping well. Just popping in with my DT post for fan - tastic tuesday. This week the sponsor is Lacy sunshine & the theme is clean & simple.
